Men of the Church

Our mission

"The Robinson Presbyterian Men of the Church group is intended to promote fellowship and
Christian love among the men of the church, while taking on projects for the betterment of the
church making our physical facility a place of safety and functionality."

The Men of the Church organized on September 28, 2004, and has been growing ever since.

Our major fund-raising project is an open car show held in June of each year. The next car show is scheduled for June 14, 2008. Assisting us in this project are members of the Carolina Camaro Association. The funds raised from this project are used to support needy families from the Robinson Elementary school at Christmas by providing food, clothes, and gifts for the families selected by the staff of the school. In past years we have provided for two families each Christmas. This year due to the generosity of an anonymous benefactor, we will be providing for four families.

As a group we normally meet on the fourth Sunday of the month for breakfast at 8:00 AM in the church fellowship hall. Other projects we have supported are working with GAP (Gaston area Presbyterian Churches) build Habitat for Humanity homes in Gaston County, and various maintenance projects to the church grounds and buildings. The Men of the Church also prepare breakfast for all who attend our annual Easter sunrise service.
